Did you know
BLOW THE WHISTLE ON CRIME IN YOUR WORKPLACE
Why have a whistleblowing hotline?
It is a proven fact that the biggest potential threat to the security and bottom line of a company or organisation does not necessarily come from strangers, its clients, service providers or suppliers but from its own employees. For some inexplicable reason, the impact of internal criminal activity is still grossly underestimated by South African businesses, who overspend on external security and underspend on internal security.

In recent years, credible research has shown that over 80% of company theft and fraud has been committed by employees and 48% of theft and fraud has been as a result of corruption involving employees.

One of the most effective methods for reducing fraud within the workplace is the application of a hotline that will allow and encourage employees, customers and others to report corruption and wrongdoing.
Better a thousand enemies outside the house than one inside.
How do I establish a whistleblowing
or ethics hotline for my company?
An ethics hotline can be a powerful tool and we believe that one should be applied to all businesses of any size from small family run organisations to large
multi-national companies.
A successful hotline will constantly reassure employees that they can come forward with reports without fear of retaliation, and most importantly, that they have the right to remain anonymous. Both of these commitments are integral to the ongoing success of implementing a whistleblowing program
