A workplace investigation is the investigation of an incident that has occurred, or is suspected to have occurred, or could possibly occur in the working environment.
Industrial investigations could possibly lead to a criminal or civil investigation

Damage of company property that could lead to a criminal charge of malicious damage to property or an internal labour matter, such as “negligence”;
